The company collaborated with GeneLex Corporation, to design and manufacture an Electrophoresis Passive Buffer Recirculation gel box for use in the processing of DNA for many of the Federal and State crime labs throughout the United States. In 1993, they were commissioned to build a protein chamber to be used on the Russian Space Station, Mir, for studying the growth of protein crystals in a zero-gravity environment. In 2001 they were commissioned to build a two-man body shield for the nuclear reactor at Comanche Peak, Texas. Ellard Instrumentation Ltd. is a small business, with seven employees. This enables us to create handcrafted products and maintain high quality customer service to meet specific needs of our customers. | |
