Washington Technology Center
(WTC) -- The WTC is the state-funded enterprise that supports commercially-promising
research and techology development in Washington state. WTC research is accomplished
through collaborative industry-university programs conducted in response to the commercial
needs of the state's industrial base. WTC research capabilities capitalize on high

Western Washington University (WWU) --
WWU is a public university, located in Bellingham, nationally recognized for its
undergraduate programs. Western has state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities in

Whitworth College --
Whitworth College values both teaching and research in its science programs, which have
seen 57 percent enrollment growth over the past five years. Whitworth recently launched
