Summer Intern – EHSS, EHSS Management Systems

Description

The company’s industry-leading antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) technology harnesses the targeting ability of antibodies to deliver cell-killing agents directly to cancer cells. Summary:

As an intern at Seagen, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with people that do truly amazing things.

Requirements or Responsibilities:

Under the mentorship of the EHSS team, the EHSS intern will undertake projects directed at specific topics such as:

  • Risk Assessments
  • EHSS-related training needs analysis
  • Management of Change
  • Gap analysis
  • Development of recommendations and identification of resources to fill gaps
  • Program development
  • Sustainability and Pollution Prevention
  • Support daily EHSS activities and program development, maintenance, and training as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work full-time for Seagen during Summer 2023
  • Currently enrolled in a university, pursuing a bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or another related field
  • An expected graduation date on or after August 2023
  • Ability to actively listen, communicate, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external colleagues and stakeholders
  • Independent learner and a self-starter
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Note: This is an onsite, paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Seagen, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.
