Summer Intern – Quantitative Pharmacology & Disposition, PK/PD Platform

Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated summer intern in the Quantitative Pharmacology & Disposition department. The overall objective is to conduct PK/PD analyses cross vc-MMAE ADCs programs to maximize risk-benefit profiles and provide insights in dose optimization.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review medical literatures
  • Summarize clinical pharmacology and clinical efficacy and safety from public domain and internal information
  • Conducting pharmacokinetic
  • (PK)/pharmacodynamic (PD) and dose-exposure-response analyses across internal programs

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing an advanced degree (PhD or PharmD) in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, life sciences, or other related fields.
  • Candidates must be able to complete a 10–12-week internship from May to August.
  • Understanding of the principles of pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD), PK/PD modeling and clinical research concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with PK and PD data handling
  • Experience in interpreting clinical dose-response and PKPD data
  • Hands on experience with one of the modeling tools such as, NONMEM, R or MATLAB is preferred

Note: This is an onsite, paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Seagen, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.
