Summary:

The Customer Information Team (CIM) is in need of a Sr. Manager Sales Operations CRM/Veeva within Global Insights and Operations (GIO), who will be responsible for driving Veeva CRM Operations and supporting the growing business while creating scalable solutions for managing client relationships in commercial operations.

Sr. Manager Sales Operations CRM/Veeva will work closely with the field and sales leadership to set the strategy and objectives of the Commercial Operations team at Seagen in support of Business functions across the company. As the Sr Manager, you will understand key business processes, maintain the strategic roadmap for Commercial Operations and Technology, and support the scalability of different Seagen CRM needs, lead project delivery and execution for these initiatives. Work closely with the stakeholders to meet deadlines and discuss pain points and roadblocks.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, championing automation to drive efficiency, innovating new Veeva capabilities to stay competitive and gathering requirements to assess business needs in the areas of CRM (Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, Event Management etc.).

Principal Responsibilities:

  • The role will lead efforts to identify, develop, and deploy business process to support the growing business needs in Veeva CRM. Define optimal processes and configure and customize the Veeva/Salesforce platform and related technologies/platforms
    • Provide sustainable solutions that are scalable and consistent across all SeaGen product teams
    • Own communication of the analysis to improve business processes, communicate analysis findings, and propose projects or initiatives

  • Strategize and improve usability of Veeva CRM and Veeva Data across internal cross functional teams and measuring adoption of Veeva
  • Responsible for field sales support across all product teams and manages feature intake requests
    • Review and monitor current process collaborating with the field and leadership teams to identify gaps, solutioning and providing improvements and efficiencies
    • Create a sustainable and scalable support process for the internal teams and establish a SLA for resolution
    • Lead CRM advisory meetings and scheduled office hours to increase adoption of CRM and related sales technologies
  • Lead and focus on improving usability/adoption of Veeva CRM/Salesforce solution across brands
  • Bring Pharma/BioTech experience to enable new Veeva CRM capabilities aligning with business priorities
  • Lead requirement gathering efforts and priorities execution of enhancements/projects based on business value and priorities
  • Lead training sessions with the field and sales leadership to increase adoption of Veeva CRM
  • Establish strong collaboration with cross functional Global Insights and Operations (GIO) teams
  • Helping define roles, accountability, and opportunity for each team member. Providing paths for development.
  • Responsible for Managing team (Internal FTE/External Vendor teams working on project)

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Life Science Commercial industry experience as a manager for several years practicing business function and technical capabilities in Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Veeva Network, & Salesforce
  • Subject matter expert and hands on experience in Veeva CRM modules
  • Experience working in field deployment activities such as targeting and alignment changes in Veeva, RTEs, IVA, FCRs etc.
  • Hands on experience working including handling configuration and admin experience in Veeva and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to lead monthly meetings with business stakeholders and adopt to agile ways of working considering change management
  • Strong experience working with Cross Functional teams within Commercial and with IT partners
  • Ability to carry out difficult decisions in a logical, rational manner, and demonstrated ability to work as a senior team member and to engage and influence team members
  • Drive continuous improvement in Veeva monitoring adoption and effectiveness and service quality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in partnership with others in a collaborative or advisory role
  • Comfortable briefing executive level summaries and detailed operational level reviews
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management and experience working in Life Sciences Industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 Years of experience working in Commercial Operations
  • 3+ Years of experience working in Veeva Platform credentials and Salesforce

The hiring pay range for this position is $136,000 to $176,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
