Summary:
A successful candidate is someone who can thoroughly understand Supply Chain Planning business requirements to drive design and implementation of new or improved business processes. The selected applicant will conduct root cause analyzes, design, build, and deploy best practice from an end-to-end supply chain planning perspective while streamlining and standardizing across the organization and supporting continuous improvement initiatives and activities. This role ensures the efficiency of business operations and works to harmonize process outcomes with the organization’s strategic goals by developing and implementing solutions and methods that will result in significant process improvement for operations within supply chain planning. The primary objective of this position is to enable business growth and productivity through deployment, optimization, and application of business processes in the Supply Chain Planning domain. The position will work extensively with cross functional departments to ensure alignment of business processes. This position will report to the Associate Director – Supply Chain Planning.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions across multiple planning systems, e.g. Kinaxis RapidResponse, ISS Nexus
- Key liaison for access/license management for Supply Chain Planning Applications
- Lead data migration efforts on projects as required by the business to facilitate UAT’s and production cutover activities
- Lead cross-functional meetings with decision makers, systems owners, project teams and others to define business requirements and goals to identify and resolve issues with scalable, /sustainable solutions
- Maintain Kinaxis learning platform, user licenses and requirements through the organization and provide solutions for tailoring curriculum to meet user requirements
- Ensure knowledge transfer to business end user resources, ensure training documentation is current and deployed for key business processes

- Support Operational Excellence initiatives within Supply Operations to strengthen business processes, ensure data accuracy and improve efficiency
- Analyze current system processes and critically evaluate inefficiencies; perform detailed root causes analysis and provide recommendations for technology-based solutions that can scale with growing needs of the business
- Oversee process implementation through interfacing with IT and end-users, conducting user training, and working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Review data quality issues and coordinate solutions with data owners
- Support bi-annual system upgrades by developing testing strategies and coordinating testing with end users
- Work hand-in-hand with the Oracle ERP system owner and the master data teams to ensure data integrity and process optimization across systems
- Act as a change agent who is dedicated to inspiring and fostering valuable change
Qualifications:
- Preferred work experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and health care industries.
- 5+ years of experience as a system’s analyst supporting and implementing large scale IT solutions including business analysis, project management, process improvement, including knowledge of computer systems validation and software deployment
- Proven experience in business process development with strong knowledge of end-to-end Demand and Supply Chain Planning business processes
- Preferred experience working within the Supply Chain Planning organizations
- Preferred hands-on experience working on planning tools such as Kinaxis RapidResponse coupled with business knowledge in Supply Chain
- Planning areas
- Expertise in functional integration with major ERP’s e.g. Oracle EBS
- Experience in working with matrix organizations and work effectively with crossed functional, multi-location and multi-cultural teams
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent documentation skills including requirements, functional and technical specifications, test scripts
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Information Technology or related programs required

The hiring pay range for this position is $95,000 - $123,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
